#TBT to last year when I visited the exciting city of Hong Kong for the first time. I’ve traveled around Southeast Asia before, but visiting Hong Kong was unlike any other experience I’ve enjoyed in that part of the world. Sure it’s big, busy and teeming with people but I was surprised by just how many opportunities there are to enjoy a more relaxed side to the city. Whether it’s spending time on Lantau Island or taking the ferry across Victoria Harbour as shown here, it is possible to slow down and enjoy Hong Kong in a less frenetic way. The city is also a beautiful mix of the old and modern, progressive and traditional and this duality, unlike any other I’ve found around the world, is just one reason why visiting Hong Kong is so very enjoyable. I’ll be heading back to this exciting metropolis in May and I can’t wait to see yet more sides to the city and of course eat my way through what is arguably one of the top culinary destinations in the world.
